Miami Wins NBA Summer League for the First Time in History

On the night of July 23, the final of the 2024 NBA Summer League took place.

In a decisive matchup, Miami defeated Memphis (120-118, OT) and claimed the Summer League title for the first time in history.

The most outstanding player of the game was Grizzlies forward Jake LaRavia, who scored 32 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, and provided 3 assists.

His teammate Scotty Pippen Jr. contributed 29 points, 5 rebounds, and 11 assists, while another teammate, GG Jackson, added 28 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists.

Miami Heat guard Josh Christopher was named the Finals MVP, scoring 24 points, pulling down 4 rebounds, and making 3 steals. The tournament MVP was Brooklyn forward Jalen Wilson, who averaged 21.8 points (47.3% shooting and 55% from three-point range), 4.6 rebounds, and 1 assist per game.
