The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will allocate a $3.9 billion grant from the United States for salaries.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this during today’s government meeting, as reported by Ukrinform referencing his Telegram channel.
“The government today decided to secure a $3.9 billion grant from the United States. The funds will be channeled through World Bank structures,” he said.
Shmyhal informed that the Cabinet will direct these funds to pay the salaries of rescue workers, teachers, and medical professionals, as well as to support social programs.
